Round Table Announces New Area Chairman

Round Table’s in Area 36 Round Table Great Britain & Ireland have announced Roger Clay as their Chairman for this year from Heswall Round Table.

The Annual General Meeting this year of Area 36 took place on line for the 1st time in their history was great success with Round Table members joining in from all over the world due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Area which covers Wirral, Chester and North East Wales and covers Six Round Tables within the area which Include Hoylake & West Kirby, Heswall, Chester, Deeside, Wrexham and Ellesmere Port.

Last year these six tables helped to raise over well over £90,000 for good causes in their local communities, from Christmas floats to Bonfire Nights and to Beer festivals to Children in Need there are many events that Round Tables run in their local community’s to raise money to go back into their local community.

Roger Clay has taken over from Chris McAlister of Chester Round Table , and is looking forward to working with all involved with Round Table in the area to introduce a range of new social activities, and further support local community’s through fundraising events.

Round Table has been established since 1927, and offers a place for men from all walks of life to simply have a laugh, and discover a world of new activities whilst meeting like-minded individuals, and we have a great Area team in please this year to make this happen

Roger Clay, Chairman of Area 36 Round Table, says: “It’s an exciting time to be part of Round Table as it is an organisation which is growing and giving more men in their community’s the chance to embrace life to the full, and we have a great Area team in place this year to make this happen Round Table is simple about Fun, Friendship and Fundraising so it just the case of which one is for you?”
